Food Day is a nationwide celebration and movement toward more healthy, affordable, and sustainable food and occurs each year on October 24th. Food Day's national priorities address overarching concerns within the food system and give common ground for building the movement.
Food Day Priorities:

- Support sustainable and organic farms
- Reduce hunger
- Reform factory farms to protect the environment and animals
- Support fair working conditions for food and farm workers
Please join us on Food Day for a screening of the HBO documentary Weight of the Nation. The film examines the complexity of the obesity epidemic in America and seeks to increase awareness about obesity issues and motivate us make informed choices about the food we eat.
